Numberle, or Nerdle, is an online math puzzle game for people who love Wordle but in a different variant. It is a mathematical version of Wordle. Numberle works like Wordle, but with a mathematical twist. You can also call it math wordle.
What is Numberle (Nerdle) Game?
Numberle is a math puzzle game in which players have to guess a complete, valid mathematical equation in six attempts. The equation contains arithmetic operators along with numbers.
The player has to enter valid numbers with signs that balance the equation on both sides. After each attempt, the tile's color will change, showing hints for the next attempt. The player has only six attempts to guess the right equation.
Rules to Play Numberle Unlimited
The following are the simple rules to play nerdle
- Fill the empty boxes with a valid equation using different operators and numbers.
- You can select a digit from 0 to 9.
- You can select from basic mathematical operators (+, - , * , / ) and “=” is must in equation.
- The digit after the equal sign must be a number, not an operator.
- The right-hand side and left-hand side of the equation must be equal in number.
- Guess the equation in a total of six attempts.
How to Play Numberle?
Follow these simple steps to play the math puzzle
Start with a guess equation The very first step of playing Numberle is to randomly guess the valid equation using digits. You can choose numbers from 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 with basic mathematical operators (+,-,*,/,=). After the first attempt, the tile's color in-game will display clues for the next guess.
Follow Color Code In total, you have six attempts to guess the correct equation. Follow the color coding of the tiles for each consecutive guess.
- Yellow color means the digit and the arithmetic sign in the hidden equation, but at the wrong place
- Green color means the digit and the arithmetic sign in the hidden equation with exactly the same place
- Gray color means the digit and signs are not in the equation
Have Final Guess After 2 to 3 guesses, keep in mind the color clues of revealed tiles and the location to guess the right equation. On an exact match of the equation, all spots will be green, showing the win of the game.

In a digit math puzzle, you can start an equation with zero, but it looks like a waste of chance. Although 01 is valid, it wastes your chance to cover more digits
